About me

When I was 16 years old I signed up for my high school's film class. Not out of much interest; I heard it was an easy B+. But I picked up a camera and fell in love. What a joy.

This certainly wasn't in the plan. No, I was going to be a businessman like every man in my family for the last 80 years. And I stuck to it.

At the University of St. Andrews in Scotland I pursued a bachelor's degree in Economics & Management and graduated with second class honours, Grade 1. My love for film, however, stubbornly hung on. I was a founding member of the committee for St. Andrews' Filmmaking Society. We helped dozens of new student filmmakers produce their first short films. We even organized an international film festival!

When I went home to Canada, I started a manufacturing business with my engineer brother. We had an amazing ride growing that business from the ground-up. Today, 'Argon Prototypes Inc.' performs ultra high-precision CNC machining for several cutting-edge industries.

In 2026, after 5 years, I decided to leave the business to pursue opportunities in the flm and tv industry. It came shortly after I started dating my girlfriend, who is a screenwriter. I had an opportunity to produce her latest short film, and I jumped at the chance. The feeling of being on set, creating, collaborating, it reminded me of what I was missing!

For the past few months I've been working as a production assistant for movies, tv shows, and social media content. I'm also collaborating on a few long-term projects including a vertical anthology for social media, a feature screenplay, and more.

I look forward to sharing more about my projects here in the near future!

Let's make something!
